iPhone & iPad · no App Store
On Apple devices a website can't install itself, so there is no button for this. Safari does it instead: it saves the site to the Home Screen, and from there Crictime opens full screen, with its own icon, directly on the match list. It costs nothing, downloads nothing and takes three taps.
Crictime is already on this device's Home Screen.
Go to play.crictime.is in Safari.
The Share button is a square with an upward arrow. iPhones show it in the bottom bar; iPads show it at the top beside the address.
In the sheet that slides up, go below the row of app icons to the action list and choose Add to Home Screen. If you don't see it straight away, scroll the list up; older iOS versions keep it further down.
You get a preview with the Crictime icon and a name field. Keep the name and tap Add, top right.
The icon is placed on your Home Screen; with several pages of apps, check the last one. Opened from there, the site runs full screen and streams play as they do in Safari.
Nothing needs updating later. The icon always loads the site as it is today.
The share sheet has no Add to Home Screen. The link was opened inside another app, such as WhatsApp, Instagram or Gmail. Copy the address and paste it into Safari.
The icon opens Safari, address bar and all. It was saved as a bookmark. Delete the icon and repeat the steps, choosing Add to Home Screen and not Add Bookmark.
Removing it. Hold the icon, tap Remove App, then Delete. Nothing stays behind on the device.
